... vs.  the gold equivalent ... let's see it side by side ... which one is more sexy?

So it looks like the Cabacal resource report comes in at about 51 million tonnes at 0.65 CuEq when done in copper equivalent. I'm using Northwest Copper Corps formula included in their release today. Recoveries are a bit different but gets you pretty close. Doing it in gold equivalent looks better. Doing it in copper equivalent explains the poor reception in the market. 5 Assumptions used ...more

The high grade starter comes in at  3,000,000t at 1.6% CuEq as opposed to 3,000,000t at 2.45% AuEq Which one looks better? It's interesting and helps understand why the stock was punished. CRUX dude and others have the calculators.

40mt at approx 1% Cueq in the main pit was a good start IMHO.   Probably going to get a mine built off of that at least Gilbert thinks so and 3 mining analysts think there is that potential to rate it at a strong buy.  EVERYTHING else coming is gravy..   The market is hard on everyone right now, not just MNO and even Grimey is getting frustrated with lack of drill results ...more
