And yet... we're getting crushed! General market sentiment but you'd think investors would pick up a few of these type stocks as security. Interest rates will not be skyrocketing. Everyone needs a roof over their heads still right?? I'll be buying more here shortly at this level. Silver lining. Glta

I agree. The way I like to think of these long term mis-priced stocks (that at least pay out a respectable yield) is that we only need them to get to their real value once or twice every 5 years or so or whenever we plan to exit. In the meantime, buy buy buy and collect the distribution.

I can't really put my finger on it but something really seems wrong with MRG. We held a minor position in it from Oct, 2019 to July, 2021 and made a couple bucks. I had initially bought it as a partial replacement for the full position we held in NVU (Northview). It seemed like a logical choice but I finally lost patience and bailed at $17.51 and put the money into banks. I sure am pleased ...more
