Can anybody explain

Why Birchcliff (BIR) is higher today.  This is a pure natural gas play.  Currently trading at $13+ range. PE ratio is way higher than NAE. Does not pay a dividend. Has more shares O/S than NAE.

- NAE trading at $7.27 !!!!!!,  BIR trading at 13.74 !!!!!!

WTF ????

Birchcliff has received an unsolicited bid in december, I think it was.  Company put itself on the block afterward seeing if it could get a better bid.  Last week Eric Nuttall said the rumour on the street was that the offer was $16.  Who knows if this is right or wrong but maybe the auction process is close to being over.
