Brand new? Let's wait and see! And Worley? Only one thing is certain, namely who Worley has been working with so far! Worley has an absolute interest in successfully completing and developing these projects!!!
Worley has been working with, among others, so far:
1) BASF
https://www.energynewsbulletin.net/energy-transition/news/1390211/worley-build-basf-battery-material-plant
https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx/wor/announcements/basf-awards-contract-for-battery-material-plant-in-finland-2A1234812
As we all know, there is still a sulfate problem there! The plant is not in operation!
2) Umicore
https://mining.com.au/worley-secures-umicore-canadian-contract/

So there is a construction freeze until further notice!
3) OCP

As we know, many companies in the LFP sector will be relocating here in the near future.

4) Rocktech (Mercedes/Tesla!!!)

Nice! :)) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lbb7gqeQUqU
A collaboration with Tesla is very likely here, if only because of the geographical proximity (Guben >> Grnheide approx. 100 km!)

From 14:50 - 16:35!!!

What is very exciting here is that there is a clear congruence with the Tesla process!

Conclusion:
Tesla has built its own cathode factory, Tesla has put its own lithium refinery into operation. It all boils down to the fact that Tesla wants to control and technologically master all steps of the battery and battery materials manufacturing chain, with the exception of raw material extraction.
However, they did not originally develop all of these technologies themselves (that would have required huge amounts of time (see Nano One Materials/Rocktech) and capital, in addition to the actual production operation!), but instead they have most likely entered into technology partnerships under NDA with companies such as Nano One Materials/Rocktech. They were, so to speak, the first to use their technology approach and apply it on a larger scale, and HOPEFULLY were only allowed to do so with the obligation of later licensing (Nano One Materials) or acceptance of production (Rocktech).
Such disruptive technologies, which, as with Nano One Materials, are intended to represent the market for battery materials in the western world as a platform technology compared to China ("Changing How the World Makes Battery Materials"), must WORK and function reliably.
Worley will implement this! For Nano One Materials, for Rocktech, for BASF, for Umicore and all other really big global players!
And probably for Tesla too! Let's wait and see!
