It's a shocking video to say the least. Worst part is Tesla hates patents and believes in giving away thier IP free of charge in an effort to help grow the overall supply chain supporting the transition to electrification. So the Tesla process is likely going to be given away to anyone who is willing to follow it to build their own cathode plants (i.e., no license fee to use Tesla process?).

Tesla having patents does not mean they are anywhere near where Worley/Nano are at in terms of a packaged template cathode plant design. However, on the other hand, Tesla has Texas Giga Factory cathode plant almost physically built presumably using their own patented cathode process (which happens to be green/waste free, uses a single reactor, encorporates coatings into the reaction, uses spray drayers, etc.).

I don't know, feels like Tesla is eating our lunch. But what could we even do they are just so massive.
