How much Cash do they have on books to survive with this Water mess ???? or they can raise more here looks like 5.30 is last support before slipping under 5 ,,,,

They had $1.5M at EOQ but A/R were at $20.5M and I expect much of that to have been brought into the coffers,  not to mention they have access to debt if needed.  No raise needed and no need to panic. I expect this cost overrun may not amount to much more than the 15% contingency that the company planned for in the original plant 2 construction economics.  in terms of ...more

I agree that shareholder confidence has been rocked by this disaster. I continue to question the information given that the 1m tonne guidance for 2022 was repeated in the Plant 2 update of August 31st. Nine days later, in the 7th September update, Plant 2 was announced as effectively inoperable for 4-8 weeks. It also wipes out 3 months of sales.  If Verde's 2023 guidance can be ...more

Disaster? Really?!   it's nothing more than groundwater discovered building a road. Far from a disaster.

Disaster is not there yet if water is not near the Mine ,,but never knows whats next ???very  risky Bet now

Water in the mine? Road permit revoked? Mamoth interest rate hike next Tuesday? Russia decides to use tactical nukes in the Ukraine? There are all kinds of nasty scenarios. It's a solid company with great prospects. The stock will no doubt drop more over the next 2-3 months, but their fundamentals look very strong. I'll be adding when it's under $5. No need to panic at this point.

Oh Bookworm.... if you're going to fear monger at least make an effort. There is no mine. Verde Greensand literally sits exactly on the surface. Tactical nukes would only send potash prices thru the roof. Get the team together and work on your execution. You can be better..

If we get a nuke deployment I don't think our worries will be about verde....that would be more like ww3....I agree that the stock will fall over the coming weeks the thing I am waiting to see is if there is poor news coming out about the road situation that would be the time to add for the long term as the market would do another 20% down day....I am holding off on adding for now...may be ...more

Same here. I like the co, and will be bottom fishing it for sure. FedEX was down in after hours, as the economy slows, and next week's FOMC will hammer the market for sure. Good company, but the trend is your friend (or foe). GLTA with your fishing expeditions over the coming weeks.

Thanks General. You missed my point. I'm saying relax, the company is doing just fine. We'll see some softness over the next 2-3 months, for sure, but it isn't the end of the world. Well, unless Putin goes bananas and uses nukes. Hopefully China will disuade him from doing that.
