Further moves to open up the transport of petroleum molecules out of Canada towards an energy starved world, will be beneficial in so many ways that It brings tears to my eyes. Hopefully a way to bring this country together again in prosperity and achievement. As a Country we have been blessed with tremendous natural resources. Unfortunately we have been cursed for the past seven with a blathering ...more

I am trying to make a point that should be of great interest to everyone regardless of their political stripe . The Montney region in particular and  the whole Western Canadian petroleum basin has much greater reserves than any official reserves would indicate. For the Montney we are talking  over 100 years of Natural Gas . Countries outside of North America are crying for our gas. Which ...more

Step aside Trudeau?  Didn't the Liberal government buy the Trans Mountain Pipeline from Kinder Morgan?  It seems to me Trudeau is getting more pipelines built than Harper and Jason Kenney.  Look what happened to Keystone KL.   Isn't the Coastal Gaslink being built?  Tracy Robinson former head of the Coastal Gaslink is going to be the new CEO at CNR.

Trudeau has blocked more projects than you can count on your fingers and toes. Worse , no sensible investor wants to invest in Canada given his capricious nature. He does not operate on any logic based system , only self serving politics. Time for a change, less government is what we need. Any necessary regulations should consider the greater good, not special interest groups of which there are ...more

Got ya oldnagger. I also blame low rates -> world  awash in excess capital -> inflating asset prices.  Maybe one day we will both sleep better.  Trudeau will be gone for you and Kenney gone for me.

nice platitudes and he hit all the hot buttons ...  only thing lacking is ....  wait for it ..... actual solutions and things he is going to do! So far it's little more than well spoken marketing fluff to prime the pump of angst and outrage.

I am not a big fan of many politicians, So I do not set a high bar. Only that he keeps his word  and reduces government interference . If Canada can not get someone to do at least that much , then I will throw in the towel and move to a deserted island somewhere far away from a cell tower !!

I actually  stayed overnight on such an island a long time ago Only  a hammock to sleep on , a pot and a few utensils, plenty of fruit to pick and an abundance of fish to catch and eat. Transportation to the island and back needs to be pre arranged locally . Only one party on the island at a time. The feeling of isolation and tranquility is exquisite.
