You got me on that one WG or were you aware. LAB or Labrador Gold got its permits to drill as I already knew. IKE

likeike, Yes, from the same Crescat video. I don't have a clue about QH's comments re "out of the box thinking" for Novo to get assay results back sooner.

Technology solutions, WS.   Think about the goal of eliminating the need for an offsite lab altogether .  Have cores and ore samples processed / analyzed right where they are extracted. If your future is being undermined by a present constraint, then move towards eliminating that constraint. The machines came into the mining arena for sorting.  Keep moving forward.  The ...more

TX and WG He was actually refferring to the labs making the slurry for quantitation and then sending the samples to I think some asian city for analysis. He did mention the company that has some underuntilzed lab somewhere. He did not mention if they used FedX but he said it will speed things up. IKE

These lab services need curbing. There is emergent equipment creeping into the sector that can handle things much more elegantly. Tx

This Chrysos PhotonAssay system may be part of the solution to the log jam. Note the quote of Dr. Simon Dominy, Principal Advisor, Novo Resources Corp., among the testimonials below the photo of the fellow striding past the machine. https://www.chrysos.com.au/

Novo have had their eye on this equipment for quite a while. That's just another technology revolution occuring in the sector. There will come a day in the near future where many of these "lab log jams" go the way of the DoDo. Tx

These lab services need curbing. There is emergent equipment creeping into the sector that can handle things much more elegantly. Tx Having been a medical lab technician 40 years ago and how inovation has moved things along I canot believe how slow the mining industry has been. Old days learned how to quantitate various poisons from blood. So slow and labourious but even then you show up ...more

It's not just the medical industry that adopts technology a little quicker than the mining industry. At the beginning of the last century, mining made a real progressive leap when someone figured out that things got easier with the introduction of the combustion engine for trucking and power generation. By the late 1960's, the same geniuses had figured out that building bigger mines ...more

Hey Tx did you see that dogs are now 94% accurate on detecting the corona virus which far surpasses what the accepted tests can do. They also found out cats are just as good at detecting Corona they just won't tell you. IKE
