The Company is mainly focused on the Peace River asset. The Peace River is a stable, cold-flow heavy oil Bluesky resource with Clearwater upside within the Peace River Oilsands region. It has full ownership in a large, contiguous 680 section area of land at Peace River. It has a production base of approximately 30,000 boe/d with the Peace River and is its largest asset as it grows its Clearwater and Bluesky production and establishes new fields in the area. Its other assets include Willesden Green and Viking light oil assets. It also has non-operated holdings in the Pembina Cardium Unit #11.

Even Warren Buffet makes mistakes

While I totally admire Warren Buffets brilliant investing career it is not without mistakes. This post is directed to Co Pilot but others who think like him should take note. CoPIlot doodie thinks that just because Mr Buffet invests in a company it is guaranteed to be a winner and more times than not that is true. However, MR Buffet has made some big mistakes along the way at times. Here is just one example that is appropriate since it was with another oil company than OXY:

ConocoPhillips

Warren Buffett bought a large stake in the stock of ConocoPhillips (COP) in 2008 as a play on future energy prices. This turned out to be a bad investment because Buffett bought in at too high a price, resulting in a multibillion-dollar loss to Berkshire Hathaway.1
