Pieridae Selling Goldboro Site

Final nail in the coffin for the LNG dreams.

Been hearing rumours for a few weeks that it was sold. Story in allNS a couple days ago (no urls, and they disable copying). Pieridae is quoted as saying they chose among bidders. Implication that they have chosen, but not finalized.

Selling it is obviously a done deal though.

The sale could have a significant impact in further reducing debt, which would allow them to move forward with their drilling program. What portion of their production is liquids?

How much they paid for Goldboro?  I think that was 50$M.  I'm not sure.  Someone remember?

They paid $3 million for the property. Its not a hot commodity. And I doubt any of the bidders want it that bad.

The amount of the transaction was not released.  Only that Scotia Bank has financed this acquisition

From what I have heard, it sounds unlikely the sale has been finalized. I think about the only thing that can be counted on, is that they are going to sell.

Maybe a subsidized housing complex for immigrants. Cheap land in that part of our country.
