Speculated “Energy Cliff” beginning to look like a Certainty

Good morning from Atlantic Canada.

I haven't seen anyone mentioning any of the following, futile, regressive Nat Gas policies beginning to be imposed: this one from NYC:

"But the hard reality is that the ban will act as a regressive energy tax on the poor and middle class. In addition to making energy less affordable, it will reduce the resilience and reliability of the energy network in America’s biggest city."

And where do we think these climate change zealots believe replacement MWs of electricity will come from, nevermind those marginal incremental MW increases required in general for a growing world?

...probably from burning NatGas.

And where do the EV vs: ICE. zealots believe their brand new, never before required MWs of electricity will come from to charge their new toys?

...probably from burning Coal (China, Germany) & of course NatGas...

The world is going nuts.

What do you mean electricity will have to come from burning coal and NatGas? My experience is that electricity comes from those recepticals on the wall.

In Vancouver  nwe construction doesn't allow Natural gas installation. The thought being we have enough hydro Electrical Production, GREEN, so we should burn fuel (NG). Every few years this thought changes. Having an alternate fuel heat isn't a bad idea is it? Kind of an insurance.
