Tax Loss Selling?

Was PPLs dismal end to 2020 mostly due to tax loss selling? I mean they had some recent upgrades just before Xmas and the yield is now about 8.2% with a safe divvy. Is this a really good buying opportunity?

Don't bother. It's the same with KEY TRP and ENB. Giving back what they gained in November/December.

If carbon tax was announced in January 2020, this and others would have tanked... So fair value is now likely $45.. still a buy in my opinion.

So some of these bigger funds that may have dumped shares like PPL, ENB, KEY, etc for tax purposes, may just jump right back in to scoop these up at bargain prices with high yields. I realize there's some challenges for these companies, but they se to be trading well below what they're worth, soy guess is the same big funds that just dumped, are going to pile back in for the divvy yield ...more
