PyroGenesis Inc > ALL the burners

ALL the burners

I've spent many hrs inside industrial plants that fired fossil fuel burners and this is what I can add to the conversation here. I once worked at a power plant that switched fuels from coal to biomass. We didn't switch 1 or 2 burners, we switched them ALL over to biomass.

It's very clear from what I read on the bullboard that most posters have no idea of timelines and scheduling within these major industries

These big companies wouldn't even let the pyro team past the front gate if the end result wasn't to change out ALL the burners. It's simply, client A wants it done. It makes no sense to only purchase 1 torch and leave 49 remaining fossil burners.  That's not the plan. When they are satisfied with the burner ,they will switch them ALL out.  Having said that , this stuff takes time. Big companies must ensure they've covered all bases before making such drastic changes to their operations. The only question here is... Do you have the patience to hold your shares until all the burners are changed out? Or are you gonna sell at  a 1 torch order.  Easy choice if ya ask me. Lol

Good points there Winston to add to your point IF PYR installs that torch with in 2 weeks then the sooner company A gets to see the results and sooner place the orders

Company A will continue to do things the way they always have. Steady, precise and calculated. That's how they became a billion dollar company. Like Peter says. Just getting in the door with one of these companies is monumental

Peter said yesterday that it is actually PYR that is slowing the pace; A, B C are wanting it done faster. Either way, its great for the long term!
Comment by Winston123 on Nov 26, 2020 9:37am
Correct. Both sides want it done. They each have their own timelines.

Company A maybe putting the pressure on? https://www.ssab.com/company/sustainability/sustainable-operations/hybrit "SSAB will cut its CO2 emissions in Sweden by 25% by as early as 2025, through the conversion of the blast furnaces in Oxelsund, Sweden, to an electric arc furnace." Bleached, I love your theory.! If Elon can use H2 to fly SpaceX to the ISS, then why not a furnace.! Sweeden seems to have enough Hydro-electric ressources close to the project. When that is not the case , generating hydrogen at a low cost will be a blast!

Other key points from yesterday's NR are: - PyroGenesis is already repositioning its offerings to address the world-wide need for solution to reduce GHG emissions, and expects a significant increase in interest in its offerings as a result. The Company is selectively considering strategic alliances with technologies/technology providers which could accelerate this strategic focus with a goal ...more
