Insiders

Why are a lot of insiders selling?
Even Rodayne who just got her shares a month ago sold.

This is a complete guess, but my feeling on it is that a lot of the selling has to do with the expiration of warrants.  These people need cash to purchase the warrants and do not have it on hand, therefore need to sell to obtain the cash to purchase the warrants before expiring today.
Comment by bcsc on Apr 14, 2021 10:42am
Any purchase or exercise of warrants by insiders also must be reported,  As must any NCIB purchases.

Your a piece of work. You pick and choose what you get from ceo.ca. The possible reasoning and miniscule amounts are also there. But of course you choose not to disclose that.

fdfd12 is definitely a piece of work. if he owns shares in pyr then why does he constantly complain/instill fear? that and fdfd12 and edgetown1invest seem to be the same person using different handles. keep in mind that pyr has doubled since the beginning of the year. a double is fantastic... why does fdfd12 complain about this? why would somebody badmouth one's investment?

They are playing this stock like a fiddle. My guess is they are a paid collaboration, for shorting or accumulating purposes. I totally agree with your view on posting negative comments, any investor in any stock wouldn't do what these guys are doing.

Scan the history on their posts. Have they ever brought forward any positive or new information that is positive on Pyrogenesis? Not once.

When did I complain. I just said insiders are selling. Why are they selling if this is going up to $100 by May 24! That is not complaining.

Now ya see.. This is where you expose yourself. You get that right?
Comment by fdfd12 on Apr 14, 2021 3:19pm
You talking to me? Expose what? And why are the insiders selling.
Comment by Casavantsghost on Apr 14, 2021 3:21pm
Yes.,. because you know the why for the sell.
Comment by fdfd12 on Apr 14, 2021 3:24pm
I do? What are you talking about. I don't get it
Comment by LastZaz on Apr 14, 2021 3:28pm
He's being sarcastic. I think they sold because they exercised options to get shares for pennies, then turned around a huge profit to get instant cash while the stock was performing well. It's not even significant amounts of insider selling.  I saw insider selling on LPX at $45.00. It is at $64.80 as I write this. It doesn't imply anything besides those selling want some cash now ...more

If they sold cause they had options bought at a lower price (which they did) why sell at $8 when it is going much higher. Or better yet, why sell it now if news is coming out in 1 or 2 weeks like thinkbig said. I believe, they know info on the company and they know there is no orders coming in the next few months so they sold. This means no pop coming up in a while but I think the stock will ...more

an investment guru you are not fdfd12.. who knows why some insiders sold? maybe they wanted to purchase a house or something... who knows and who cares really. what they do with their shares/options is their business. there is no excessive selling going on.. give it a rest your second sentence (below) does not make any sense, insiders cannot use inside information to trade on. you being an " ...more

You mean my 3rd sentence. Insiders even though they shouldn't, they sell sometimes on news they know ahead of the release.
Comment by developbc on Apr 14, 2021 3:47pm
You should try out sending out your resume CEO Hedge Fund position since you so smart.  Remember last spring when Pyrogenesis lawyer sold at $1.79 to cover options and taxes?? Many tried to create false fear narrative..why why..sky is falling.   Regardless, there all kinds of reasons that insiders sell - health, emergency, financial, home purchase etc. Some to just cover the taxes ...more
Comment by LastZaz on Apr 14, 2021 3:49pm
Why didn't LPX insiders hold their shares despite knowing their EPS would continue to expand on insane levels?  Your point is reasonable, and I agree that possibility should definitely be considered. But I don't think the magnitude of the insider selling has been significant enough to cause for real concern. Rodanya sold a minimal amount of shares. Andrew Abdalla the audit guy on the ...more
Comment by fdfd12 on Apr 14, 2021 3:51pm
Rodayna didn't have many shares though
Comment by LastZaz on Apr 14, 2021 4:03pm
Indeed she did not. So really one insider on the board sold some shares he acquired for pennies and earned a few hundred grand immediately. And he still has shares as far as I can see. Not necessarily a bad sign whatsoever. And again, some insiders have also exercised their options, accumulated shares and not sold any.

Totally in agreement with you LastZaz. BTW great post on Agoracom!
Comment by Casavantsghost on Apr 14, 2021 4:34pm
Expiration date.. but you know this as well. So the appearance of making a mountain out of a mole hill isn't a good look and all eyes are seeing this. So why do it?
