DROSRITE and PYR will make waves in the Aluminum industry
Incredible news today that an existing Aluminum industry customer is coming for a repeat order of DROSRITE. It’s a major validation for PYR, and given that DROSRITE is relatively new to the industry, every order further cements confidence in this technology and increases awareness of it to those smelters who are using outdated technology like the Rotary Salt Furnace (RSF) dross recovery process.
The adoption of DROSRITE will only grow over time, and accelerate PYR’s foothold within Aluminum smelters, because it just makes sense. DROSRITE gives smelters the ability to process dross on-site, at a cheaper cost, and in a more environmentally friendly manner, by reducing GHGs from the dross recovery process, as well as avoiding the need to landfill hazardous RSF salt-cake waste. Governments are cracking down on the Aluminum industry’s landfill practices, a tail-wind to PYR, but even without that, from a financial standpoint the cost savings of using DROSRITE validate the transition out of old dross processing systems.
Adding to this PYR have 1. added the option of tolling to DROSRITE clients, 2. are planning to supplement their DROSRITE offering with a technology provider that can handle residues from the processing of dross, turning them into high-value specialty chemicals, and 3. eventually once the SPL (spent pot lining) residue project is completed, they will have the ability to transform SPL into lower carbon fuel & materials, further helping smelters eliminate hazardous waste.
This positions PYR as a comprehensive, turnkey environmental solution provider for the Aluminum industry that will both save them money and eliminate the hassles of having to deal with landfilling, while providing financial flexibility for those who prefer the tolling option. For PYR, not only does DROSRITE represents a very lucrative business line up front, it’s a great source of recurring revenue through spare parts.
With the momentum that DROSRITE and PYR’s business as a whole is having, it’s only a matter of time before Pyrogenesis’ establishes DROSRITE and their suite of environmental offerings as a dominant solution within the Aluminum industry.

Wow great to see your informative posts MazerRR. Everyone do yourself a favor and read MazerRR's post history...very informative and was one of the very first every to post a very detailed comprehensive summary of PYR. Long and strong PYR!!!!

Just for time context, the $40 millionth n was announced March 31st in the outlook statement somwe are approximately 45 days (end of July) out from the announcement of that award.
