Very interesting article

Pyrogenesis mentioned on page 47 under pelletizing process. They also talk about coke oven gas and hydrogen injection and on page 49 under Higher blast temperatures they talk about plasma superheating. And last but not least under Brazil they mention Vale using plasma induration burners. I think we will have at least one big torch deal this year. If not 2023 will see a bunch of them imho.

Another great catch Vestmed.  Thanks for sharing. In the article of p. 47 (do a search on "PYRO" to get there), it is very interesting that the author knows about Pyrogenesis enough on this project to then write the name of Pyrogenesis in the article. Not that this is part of a white paper to the industry that will be news released in 2022, as mentioned in the introduction of this ...more

Searching "plasma" ... and reading the following at the bottom right of p. 49 (of the pdf) (p. 47 of the magazine) is quite interesting indeed: Higher blast temperatures "Higher blast temperatures achieved by plasma superheating of the hot blast can provide a direct benefit through reduction in the coke rate and thus, in CO2 emissions (only if based on "green" ...more
