It is Boeing. They were using some University to test the sample of the 3D powder from Pyro.

That's right BIGMOE, Boeing has used PyroGenesis' 3D printing powders for 2 studies: https://www.mdpi.com/1996-1944/15/3/705/pdf https://www.mdpi.com/1996-1944/15/2/530/pdf With 3D printing/additive manufacturing, the testing schedule adheres to very strict guidelines/regulations.  The fact that Boeing selected PyroGenesis for these studies further validates PYR's powders (take ...more

If you check out the two research article that are funded by Boeing you will see that they are testing two different range of particle sizes ~15–25 µm (small) and ~38–45 µm (large). So honorable DDs by other posters are, BCONT And if all contracts will taken over by Tekna you too have to admit that the Tekna share price is terrible disappointing.  Don't you?

not only are they looking for a certain SPD ,they want,or at least we're testing a blend of different SPD,and PYR says that they can tailor make any size SPD.Which I translate into ,they can set it to make a higher percentage of the required size per run, there will still be off sizes but much less of it.

Comment by GOGREENBABY on Jun 10, 2024 11:13am
I thought the same thing but PYR did specifically say it was a North American OEM and Rolls Royce is not North American

Worth a repost, very interesting that Boeing specifically used PyroGenesis' 3D Powders for 2 studies (see below for the links to the studies).

It definitely looks like it is Boeing that PYR is dealing with, read the NR from PYR and then see this article: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/boeing-innovation-longueuil-mirabel-1.7209685 And from PYR's NR: This news is even more exciting when taken in the context of the recent announcement of a joint $415-million government/corporate aerospace initiative, to establish an aerospace ...more
