Maybe they have no choice but to fix it, it's in their most advanced ship ever built. Why would they have to spend another million on something just installed not too long ago?

Give your head a shake Stairway....do you really think a million bucks every few years is a big deal for the US navy...especially considering the waste problem they were facing before PAWDS was installed?

another great post, because the navy have endless capital reserves or that a multi billion dollar company has multi billion dollars, they don't care to purchase something overpriced, and that every year they'll have to spend 20% of that original cost, just to maintain it.

Overpriced Garbage Disposal eh ? -- How'bout maintaining Stealth Position 200 Miles from Enemy w/o having Stealth Cover Blown due to Garbage Bags floating to Enemy Shores ? -- Simple Math:: it would only take approx. 10 hrs with a Sea current of approx. 20 Knots for Garbage to Reach Enemy Shores * FYI::  During Stealth Missions they Probably Eliminate Compost Food Scarps as well LOTS ...more

Keep in mind that PyroGenesis is the only foreign entity on the US Navy air carriers. The amount of due diligence that the US Navy/Government would undertake prior to having any company supply technology/products on their Air Carriers is staggering.
