the whole idea of an equity raise came from BC?
Having done IR I know that every word is carefully crafted and serves a purpose. You have to ask yourself how does planting the seed of an equity raise serve to benefit the writer? This applies to analyst convictions to a greater extent than it does company releases because the rules are almost non existent for analyst. How does planting that seed serve the shorting community? If you view these things from the perspective that we are all just pawns to feed self serving information to you will see why I always say keep your eye on the performance of the company that's the only truth in the game.

You are misreading the report. RJ simply assumed an equity raise to make its per share forecast no.s conservative. "Also, while management indicated that the carrying cost of the $73 mln debt is very manageable given QIPT’s ~2.0 debt/ equity ratio, we conservatively assume a near-term $30 mln equity raise @ $9/sh deriving a proforma FD sh. count of 42.5 mln."

p.s. RJ assumes no equity raises 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 yet revenues grow to $269 mil, $349 mil, $454 mil, $545 mil. .

Well, the shorts are piling on for a reason. An equity raise with warrants could be one of them.
