Short the stock first thing in the morning and hope for a free fall in stock price. If that fails cover position before end of day.

If that were the case of late then I'd be buying into the ask on open not selling into the bid. The higher you can drive share price on open the safer the bet that share price will come down during the session.

I think that strategy is in play but it doesn't reset every session so there is lots of carryover from one session to the next.
