These guys are asleep.SHARE BUYBACK

I defiently do not understand the management team at Quipt.
The share price is trading ar 3 year lows and they do not care at all period!
What is with these so called stewards of industry.
What are the not buying back their stock?
I have held these shares since the days of PHM .Finally today they have a good company and they  refuse to prove their confidence  and start buying back these shares.Viemed did and look how well positioned they are today.
Come onCrawford make a move already.!!

They don't have the profitability to buy back shares IMO They would have to use debt to do it... that's a recipe for disaster if that happens..!

$18mm cash on hand. The Company has $60mm in liquidity with $40mm available on debt.  If they'd use cash to buyback shares, then obviously will need to use debt for operations and acquisitions. Tough call

Companies growing furiously. They won't buy back shares and I myself, don't want them to. But thats just me. Lets have a huge acquisition instead. Rattle these monkey cages around here.

Why do they not buyback stock??--   IMO        (1)   That takes precious money which is low,  out of the company operations for good.         (2)   The problem fact that many areas are not making money ,would not be addressed.         Conclusion : Rationalize the company. Sell or give away these ...more

5% growth is actually 20% y/y growth and 2% is actually 8% y/y. Your deliberatley misleading people with your fake numbers and as a shareholder I praise management for their great work. The world isn't perfect and your not going to have the same growth in every area. If you were an actual shareholder you could give Crawford a call and belly ache to his face instead of your misleading nonsense ...more

Growth co.s do not buy back stock.
Comment by ramman1 on Feb 26, 2024 3:30pm
But some companies on the Q , LOOSE  $600000.00, on revenue of 65.4 MIL , where as other companies  ,MAKE  2.4 million, on just 9.8 mil revenue..Seems to be a disconnect ,until we look at the direction of share prices and we then sober up .-------- Proof is in the share price direction , nothing else. ----  A bagholder here  just has to ask themselves? . Where do I want to ...more

You just have to be able to see past the end the appendage on the middle of your face. Some are fine with riding it out and some freak out. I don't freak out.

Mgmt seems puzzled as well why the co. trades at the current multiples. The answer is the co. ignorantly or deviously used ebitda as a metric to measure profitabilty (which does not work for Quipt because of its accounting methods) and analysts bought into it until recently when they started asking about free cash flow. In the last few CCs mgmt finally started commenting on FCF. So even though the ...more

p.s. even if ebitda is used as profitabilty measure, if mgmt is still using price/ebitda as valuation multiple it is wrong now that there is debt o/s. They need to use EV/ebitda to get true valuation.       With debt Ignore debt Shs  42,000,000 42,000,000  ...more

Share price depressed further due to ongoing investigation by DOJ. Should turn positive when this will be over. Hopefully as per management claim, billing practice would be geniune.  EBITDA is high but for such companies with high capex/depreciation, EBIt or FCF be a true measure.  With showing NI, share price will move quickly upwards. More patience needed.

Your absolutley right about the DOJ investigation and the sideways glances its getting. We have no clue what its about but as usual the markets don't like uncertainty. And of course the bashing class pounce on it and try to paint it with as broad of brush as possible. We've been through these similar situations before with a phishing expedition at QIPT where we got all but 600 grand back ...more
