Thoughts on an Overall Market Correction

Anyone have any thoughts on how 2022 will be for the overall market?

i was talking with my financial advisor that i use for my kids RESP and he was thinking there could be something significant in 2022 with markets as he thinks they are on shaky ground and over valued at this point.

unfortunately even under valued stocks (like QTRH) get further dragged down in market corrections

thoughts anyone?

The market for 2022 turns very much on the nature of the current inflation. The Fed's position is that it's only temporary (though its confidence in that position may be slipping). If supply chains return to good working order and that leads to inflation slowing then that would likely be good for markets. On the other hand, if inflation is just getting going then the market could turn ...more

i can tell you exactly what will happen, stocks will rise until they don't anymore then they will drop, they will drop until they don't anymore then they will rise, anybody that tells you different is full of brown smelly stuff, i talked to my advisor when the covid crash happened and asked about superior plus, transalta, onex and a couple of others......don't buy them....check how ...more
