Apple?

Should we expect to hear some news on the Appke case this month? TIA

I can't remember where the narrative was coming from (or why for that matter) that we would hear back on the Apple case by Dec/January, but according to Paul Hill on the Q3 conference call, he estimated a timeline of anywhere from a few months up to six months: "Regarding WiLAN's litigation with Apple in the US, the oral hearing of federal appeals court took place in early October. Not sure I'd be relying too much on the courts in Germany coming up with something wonderful. Signs from Germany lately look like Germany may be more corrupt and buyable than the US.

Onlygame -Can you provide some reliable information re your quote: Signs from Germany lately look like Germany may be more corrupt and buyable than the US. A response would be greatly appreciated.    Thanks

astutein - I posted a video link a while ago to someone intimately involved with the German Court system for decades. It was a video about the current covid situtation but to get to the meat of his comments, I listed the time marker of the pertaining clip where he clearly warns the German Courts are no longer a beacon of light and highly suspect in its behaviour. Immediately, certain members ...more

Onlygame, I think I'll stick with Astutein's assessment. It seems Dr. Reiner Fuellmich is another conspiracy theorist.  I'm giving him zero of my time.   Dr. Reiner Fuellmich practices law in Germany and in California, and he has been exposing the crimes against humanity by the Globalists who have inflicted the false COVID-19 narrative on the public and ...more

Knock yourself out cabbie. You want to completely gloss over and  ignore his major accomplishments because you want to sit with the safe crowd and protect your image, go ahead. However, if you followed his story you might just understand how he got involved and got to where he is today. One yr ago he himself would have totally agreed with you. But now, after working with hundreds of the best ...more

I don't have the time or energy to familiarize myself with his pov on vaccines onlygame. That seems to be his cause now. It's not mine. QTRH won against Nvidia in Germany on the same Infineon patents being asserted against Apple. It's significant leverage to secure a comprehensive agreement imo.

Socrates, my reality is that I have taken flu shots for years, and they have been well tolerated and with excelllent results.  So when a Covid vaccine became available, I was first in line.  No problems with any Covid shots that I've received.  I listened to experts that said it was safe an effective.  It's not a new technology; it has been used for years.  I ...more

Happy new year Cactus.  Glad to see you're still lurking out there on the QTRH board.  I think that I might be able to add some perspective on the 3 patents being litigated against Apple in Germany and my specualtion as to the signifiance of events there. First, there are 3 former Infineon patents (purchased by Wilan 02-Jun-2015 for ~30M Euros) in litiation - in Germany ...more

I am expecting in January Apple comes to a close. Wrap it up!

Any particular reason why? I say it's better to pin your hopes on March. That way, you'll get a very nice surprise if it happens earlier, and you won't be dissapointed and get impatient if it doesn't :)

Because four months is plenty for a case that is actually not that difficult. The final $$$ is the only complicated aspect.

A successful decision in GERMANY re our Polaris patents or a comprehensive settlement will serve a double  for Wi-Lan.  With  the Marvell license  and comprehensive settlement if it occurs, this will increase the value of WiLan.(IMO)

Happy New Year a well Cabbie! Yes, I'm still around, checking in fairly regularly - I just don't have a lot to post that isn't already being said most of the time. Life's short, right? Thanks for the "quick" and excellent summary on the German cases. I think you've provided a very plausible scenario for what may be happening right now. BOL!
