The Way Ahead (Two Views)

Based on fundamentals as opposed to trading technicals, Mike Rothman sees the price of oil going above $130 bbl and thinks that this recent pullback is an ideal opportunity to top up (or initiate positions) in energy companies. 

Greg Taylor also thinks the decline has been overdone and is looking forward to the upcoming earnings season as energy companies are raking in the cash. GLTA

Mike Rothman, founder of Cornerstone Analytics, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss oil price moves amid concerns over Russian supply. He says despite U.S. demand softening, the global demand for oil is driven by emerging markets and that there is still upside for oil prices.
