wonder why they withdrew? the motion was just to keep on the shelf to allow consolidation at their discretion - anyways it's dead

Shareholders didn't want to leave it to their discretion.  Share consolidations need to be done with great care and consideration.  Ideally in conjunction with positive news and market support.

Honestly, I take this as a very good sign. It means they think they can get the share price back to a SP they are comfortable with organicly. Cyclicality in commodities is a thing, I think we are at the beginning of a big commodities run with certain specific metals like Cu, Ni, Co, and U set to out preform. Sherritt is a loaded spring IMHO, but it requires my thesis to play out and, of course, be ...more

It was a stupid idea to begin with, and I was dumbfounded to see it even proposed. These guys really do seem disconnected from reality. The faster they get booted out the better. The share price will recover despite the bad decisions of management and the BOD.

I would not say it’s a stupid idea, just not the right time. Also 10 to 20 ratio, is absurd that has to be narrowed down,10 x2= 20 (double at the boards discretion)
