colbalt

Seems they get some as by product,,then appears they can refine colbalt,,,would this be reason for price increase

It's 10:1 basically exactly by volume.  (like canada is Cobalt and USA is nickel).  so it's easy math.  yes we definitely mine and refine it.  our NDCC is per Ni product and so a high Co can actually make our costs negative.... as it accounted for as a 'byproduct'.

With the price of cobalt, I believe there are several factors. -EV adaption and acceptance -Change in governments -Global economic and manufacturing stimulation,  And don't forget  -LME at the end of 2020 is to stop / limit the transactions of tainted cobalt and other metals (un ethically mined and negative environmental practices), meaning that major EV manufactures will ...more
