The call was reasonable.  Orest W is out to lunch - his question re JV dividends and capex shows how little time he has spent trying to understand how the JV is structured....  Seems like we have attracted a few new analysists.  Question from Imperial Capital about the flag Bloomberg has on our bonds - indicates maybe growing US interest??  Don Demarco missed the call.  Greg Barnes had one sort of lame question.  Paradigm's Lawson started with "congrats on another great quarter" - I thought these guys were supposed to be a bit more non-biased...  show equanamity

Orest is upset because he has been wrong and will continue to be wrong.  He did however get close to the answer to the question about solving the outstanding receivables with his ask of whether the cash held in Cuba could be used for financing.  Imperial Capital is a US outfit and was involved in research and trading the bonds before their reorganization and are probably also frustrated ...more

I suspect this management group is treading water. They have announced this exspansion and are fleshing it out on the fly. Any info is borderline theory at this point. The increase in cobalt price has kept the NDCC down. Currently they have the proposed exspansion cost covered but again I will be very surprised if they keep it under 200 mil Nevermind the 120 they've estimated. the only thing ...more

Orest actually had very good questions. Basicallly asking for how they are going to fund the expansion and if they will pay dividends during that time. Also trying to clarify what the actual capex expenditure is going to be for 2022....they have two capex budgets now, which makes it difficult to project cash flow for the next two years if 1) you don't know how they are going to fund it (debt ...more
