VW will build a battery plant in Ontario

Too bad they can't use nickel from S refinery for NA-built vehicles to be eligible for that big fat US incentive.

The Ontario battery plant is part of VW's NA strategy and will supply units for vehicle production in USA. I doubt any of these batteries will be feeding EU car plants. VW is building battery plants out there for that.
