Don't panic

Like everyone, I am losing money not because SGY is a poorly managed company but the oil and gas sector is facing downwind. Investors are in a wait and see mode due to contradicting information they get on a daily basis from IEA, Goldman Sachs and other sources. Having said that, everything that goes down, will go up one day. I am pretty sure 2025 will be much more interesting.

From my perspective, I have made money this year on every O&G holding I have EXCEPT SGY.  That is why I sold out.  Actually, the main reason I sold out was to take the loss against my other substantial gains. I am considering buying back in after the 30 day rule expires as I don't see a lot more downside for SGY.  Of course, I said that at $8.00, then at $7.00, then at $6.00 ...more
