RE:RE:SLR Value? Stellar! Redazz, I think you said it all when you started your post by saying "I know nothing" lol...that definitely applies to all of us as no one knows what happened or didn't happen with respect to exploration activities by Homestake over the years and especially on the ground staked by Solitario. Regardless though, fortune favours the bold and those who serendipitously staked these incredible land claims.
One thing I do know though is that a lot of the ground recently staked or optioned by Dakota Territory (soon to be called Dakota Gold on the NYSE) around the Homestake mine had a significant amount of exploration already done. This could be considered a positive or a negative...the positive in that they know where not to drill and a negative in that Homestake might have explored and exhausted all gold possibilities...that being said, I suspect that with the implementation of new innovative exploration technologies, coupled with what they already know due to all the work Homestake did previously, Dakota Gold will have a very good chance of becoming a major success.
Both companies- Solitario and Dakota Territory/Gold are excellent investment opportunities!
