Superior Plus Corp. is a Canada-based North American distributor of propane, compressed natural gas, renewable energy and related products and services, serving customers in the United States and Canada. The Company delivers low carbon fuels to residential, commercial, utility, agricultural and industrial customers not connected to a pipeline. The Company's segments include United States Retail Propane Distribution (U.S. Propane), Canadian Retail Propane Distribution (Canadian Propane), North American Wholesale Propane Distribution (Wholesale Propane) and Compressed Natural Gas Distribution (CNG). The U.S. Propane segment distributes propane gas and liquid fuels primarily in the Eastern United States, as well as the Midwest and California, to residential and commercial customers. The CNG segment is a low-carbon energy solution provider engaged in the business of transporting and selling primarily compressed natural gas, renewable natural gas and to a lesser extent hydrogen and helium.

Looking forward

I didn't like it when they cut the dividend but they did what they said they were going to do and use it to buy back shares at a really good price and improve their balance sheet. 2025 has started off with lots of cold weather in North America which should really put them into a better financial situation than last year. With Brookfield looking over their shoulders it should keep them focused on what has to be done to turn Superior into a major concern going forward.
