One might think in an era with record low interest rates and a return to normalcy, the biggest gainers will be REITs like Smartcentres.

hmm well markets are forward looking and not backwards looking. pfizer also says 50,000,000 doses ready by the end of this year. sru likely to return to pre covid levels before end of 2020 imo.

possibly, but Smartcentres in Montreal were packed the entire scamdemic so I am not worried. Smartcentres was able to maintain a low payout ratio during the heigh of scamdemic. I think we can tell by positioning today into "boomer stocks" this was not a one-off incident but a sector rotation back into yielding plays that are inching towards a much safer future.
