STEP was one of his 5 recommendations as the thinks that it trades at half the value of TCW. Tardif has been around for awhile; he used to work with Peter Hodson at Sprott. GLTA

Tech stocks are a no-go for me. I prefer value, cheap names: Strategist

Jean-Francois Tardif, founder and portfolio manager at Timelo Investment Management, joins BNN Bloomberg as investors await the Fed rate decision. Tardif notes rates will continue to move higher. He advises investors to look at companies that could benefit from rising prices, such as small energy names and home builders.

Can't wait to see the upgrades stream in on STEP. With someone like Tardif in on STEP I wonder if Eric Nuttall was the Q4-Q1 buyer??? The suspense deepens. I think Eric is loading a basket of OFS names.
