Ex div date

Stock will start to climb as we approach the ex div date. Typical of dividend stocks to waver like this, but institutions will need it on the books soon. Wait and see.

This is getting real lame , so much for added interest because of the share buyback . This thing just seems to be stuck in the mud . Sad state when SU can't generate any substantive bids

Don't sweat. This is how the big boys move. They are like a train - slow to get moving and slow to stop. A healthy rise is inevitable. The big buyers are letting the easy pickings come off, and then will start reaching for the higher fruit.

Well to be fair, 500 mill to 1 billon, to be allocated over the course of an entire year is not exactly that huge of a sum for a 35 billion dollar market cap company. The question with SU and basically all o&g stocks in general is whether institutional interest will return to the sector. While the macro environment for energy has been steadily improving, on the institutional investor side of ...more

Yeah I hear that Chris , it just blows my mind when a dating site with no earnings or value has an IPO and doubles in one day of trading . There is no eye for value in this market , it all seems based on "cancel culture" whim's

I'm not expecting SU to grow like tsla, but while every other energy stock goes up and SU does not, when everything will come down, SU will go down with them. It would have been nice to see some more gains in the share price. And you're right, bb amount is a drop in the bucket
