SUNCOR-INDIGENOUS PARTNERSHIP ON PIPELINE

Suncor Energy announced this morning that it's teaming up with eight Indigenous communities to buy TC Energy's 15 per cent stake in the Northern Courier pipeline, which connects the Fort Hills oil sands project with Suncor's East Tank Farm. Suncor said in a release the three First Nations and five Mtis communities that it teamed will benefit from "long-term, stable revenues...for decades to come." The other 85 per cent stake in Northern Courier is owned by AIMCo. In a release, a senior vice-president for the asset manager saluted this morning’s announcement as “a significant step forward in ensuring the long-term viability of Alberta’s energy industry.”

LNG would be a great fit for the bands. Canada has plenty of gas that we could be exporting for years and years providing them with a consistent revenue stream.

Therefore it can be manipulated not by its necessity but by stock evaluations on Wall Street. It's easy theft for the hedge funds. They get to toss these it back and forth until the retail traders give up as many have done here and they get your money. The stock price of ...more

Hedge funds are corrupt, but they are not all powerful. Being massively short on an industry whose product is headed for serious shortages is a very dangerous position to be in. They will not be able to steal our shares if we don't let them. I would therefore advise people to control all their own investments in the sector and only to invest long term . That is why these guys keep using the ...more

couldnt agree more. When SU ran up to 30 then back down to 23 that was manipulated. I bought at 16 and should have sold at 30 but didnt. My bad. You have to be nimble to stay ahead of these crooks. We should be above 30 and everyone knows it. Next time it runs up i will sell and move into something else
