You Can’t Make This Up

So who is behind SVB and Signature Bank?

SVB....Obama friends and big donors of Hillary Clinton are on the BOD.  Only one Board member had any banking experience.  There was no Risk Manager for the Bank.

So who is being bailed out?

You guessed it...friends of the Democrat Party

Corruption?

You Bet!!!!

Signature Bank?

One of the Board members is Barney Frank....the "Frank" in Dodd Frank!!!  Small world indeed!!!  What's worse is that he was lobbying to have his own Bill changed to let the bank take risks with depositors money.

Sick?

Worse than that...can't think of a word to describe this level of corruption

Worse yet...by agreeing to bailout everybody the Dems have set a precedent to backstop the whole banking system (mega trillions) to help their friends

Gawd help us!!!!!

Experienced, I hope you realize those same decision makers that have brought our banking system to the edge of the abyss will handle the (alleged) energy transition in a similar fashion :-) Greed, corruption, and failure, that is the "Green" future you are trying to navigate. Got Oil :-) Cheers, Nukester

Good point Nukester.  Thanks for bringing the subject back to the core of this Board. True...they are the same people. My view regarding investing in the transition can be boiled down to a couple of points -  1......the incompetent hypocrites that make up the political elite especially in the US (as evidenced by my posting regarding the banks) will screw things up and so my investment ...more

I knew about Frank but the incompetence of the BOD and degree of cronyism brings this fiasco to a new level.  No wonder there was no oversight.  So much for the higher ground of superior ethics that the Democratic party love to languish in.  This really stinks and once the facts become well known,   the GOP is going to make hay with this now and throughout the election campaign ...more

A bad day on the market - not much to do but hold the line.   This video makes it clear - there is an agenda that integrates governmemts and corporations. https://rumble.com/vmyx1n-monopoly-who-owns-the-world-documentary-by-tim-gielen.html GLTA

Looking forward to seeing what kind of 8 digit year end performance bonuses SVB management rake in with that aid money influx.

They cashed in selling their stock before the sheet hit the fan the day before the rules changed!! Even Kevin O'Leary, the joke (IMHO), who had money in SVB is on record as saying the management of SVB were idiots and even though he would lose money said the guarantee of all depositors by Biden is just plain wrong.
