We voted him in so we get what we get. 

Well, actually we didn't. 

After Trudeau didn't get what should have been a slam dunk majority in the election, he bought the NDP vote for four years.  Anyone that voted for the NDP elected MP's must be so proud.

Many of us look at the political landscape in the USA with disdain.  Maybe we should be taking care of our own business first before casting stones at our neighbours.

Always been the case here Obscure. You dont need to win an election here, just finish 3rd in a minority and you could be kingmaker. Last federal election NDP recived less than 16% of the vote but now basically call the shots. Even the latest polls for 2025 (still a long time away) show the PC in a minority. Same scenario could play out. If it holds, they will need to make deal with NDP or BLOC ...more

Don't disagree with your sentiments. The way I see it is that Trudeau "bought" the NDP vote with a cheque signed in disappearing ink.  NDP voters IMO will either suck it up and still vote NDP or not vote at all. They will not vote for the Tories. in the US, the political theatre is entertaining whereas it is boring in Canada.  The sad thing is is that boredom means the ...more

Why would you want somebody with charisma? Charisma is not an intelligent trait you may want someone with a strong personality and delivers the goods to the people in an honest way unlike true dumb GLTA
