Shepard Energy Centre is an 800MW gas fired power project. It is located in Alberta, Canada. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2011 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in March 2015.

I toured that gas plant before. It was a world class gas/sulfur facility many decades ago.  The sulfur is pelletized unlike other sour gas plants that store its sulfur in molten or block form
