Dim prospects in region

The general prospects in the region seem dim right now (see below) but we'll see what the company specific news release ends up being. The major challenge comes from Brazil, where offshore drilling activity fell in 2013 and is expected to decline further in 2014. Halliburton won a large multi-year drilling services contract from Petrobras (PBR) before offshore activity began to slow. After putting in place the people and infrastructure to execute the contract, [Halliburton] has been very disappointed with the volume of drilling services work that Petrobras has needed under the terms of the contract…Citigroup’s Robin Shoemaker and Mark Brown (on Haliburton) It was made increasingly clear that technology continues to matter more and more, that the large cap integrated companies are prospering at the expense of smaller players....Credit Suisse's James Wicklund (on Schlumberger)

So, Dim boy, what does Brazil offshore have to do with this company ?  Did you spam the wrong site?  Must be tough covering that many and trying to spread fear to that many retail investors.  Don't come back.  Popps
