Re GDP

Nice work Estreet. The stars are lining up, it's all there, except for one big issue. Most of our Gibraltar numbers are pretty well in the Gib LOM, but the last Qtr CI was breath taking. Gibraltar C1 must be Crushed. Crushed.

Slight disagreement with you here miner. Q1 report will be fair at best when compared to their peers. Management has made it well known that the majority of the reduced 125M of (total) production will occur in H2. So expect around 27M (total) production in Q1. Obviously not terrible with average Q1 spot prices but not great either. Again, this is not meant to be disparaging but rather a reminder ...more

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I was thinking 25 million pounds, but with the price of copper and a $1 mine, this IS stellar.  Gib is just the basic money generator, not flashy, but consistent, that drives then engine of expansion for this company.  Florence will ramp it up and news on that EPA permit could happen any day.

Its about the Apache tribe and sacred land.  The area was absolutely off limits to mining for years because of it.  Its not about the environment, its about native American relations.  None of these factors apply to the Florence project.  Remember that Arizona takes pride in its copper mines.   Here is an article that explains it some. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us ...more

This involves and land swap with the Apaches against their will.  The Florence property is already fully owned by Taseko.  Think about that.  I do not know if the Canadian properties are owned outright by Taseko or they just have mining rights.  This is not BLM land or National Forest land.
