Things that will move sp

1.  Florence approval.
2.  Consistent positive earnings.
3.  Share price.  While many here are used to it, a SP below $5 often gets dismissed by investors and funds as a risky penny stock.  This is one of NCU's problems--way too many shares floated.  But it is also a problem for TKO.  Even GE just did a reverse split.  A 5-1 or 10-1 reverse might be healthy.

Harmoney ipo will move things a bit I guess. I believe the ipo details r known. It will be mostly principles that participate.  nf

So, what do you do when the market seems to be nervous about an earnings report and a personal conversation with the VP of investor relations is very upbeat the day before? As in " not going to disappoint" level upbeat.

To be fair, IR people are paid to be "upbeat"  Doesn't mean that they're not being genuine only that they are basically salesmen who will always spin things positively.  I've known many and I've never had one tell me that their company was in trouble or that things were difficult.  Doesn't matter here as the only thing that counts is Florence and the ...more

This dude JCSunsfan is sweating bullets because he knows he could wake to Florence permit rejection and a share price reduction. High likelihood of this happening. Copper is going lower too

Returns2021, upon what rationale do you base your predictions?

Cog, pay no attention to Reruns. Sad sack just lost over $18k in less than one month on a Canadian airline play and is very bitter. Hard to lose that much, that fast but it happened to the imp. Now it's just stomping its feet with cherry red face trying to make others feel the same way.

I lose that much in a day-- all the time.  No big deal.  Many on this board are in the same boat.  Good grief, I am down more than that TODAY. Long haul.

You're going to do extremely well JC, things shaping up nicely.

Nothing unexpected. nf

Oh!! Except engineering only 60% complete on florence. Really??? What have u been doing 4 the last 20 years. How can u get a permit with incomplete engineering? So we have to transfer another 50 million to hdi for engineering. Or did I get something wrong?? nf
Comment by nofluff on Aug 04, 2021 5:06pm
If I got it right. No flor permit anytime soon. Someone please correct me. nf
Comment by nofluff on Aug 04, 2021 5:12pm
Really!! U r short 40% engineering!!!!  Andvu again say u r procuring key components!!! Someone please make this into something tangeble. If I had a team assembled that brought this to my table, I would imediatly fire them all. No wonder russ run.  nf

That's why you're a nobody and not running a future world class copper miner. You don't blow money when you don't have to...they had to sort out state permits, local issues, the court system...it would have been reckless to spend money on engineering until those issues were resolved...which they were.  Go away now.
Comment by dcjones4396 on Aug 04, 2021 5:22pm
Really NF, I don't see what you're so upset about. Assuming they get the permit 30 September, then add on the public comment period, they have plenty of time to finish necessary engineering before project construction. At this point, to me at least, the only thing that really matters is simply getting the permit in hand. What's the rush if we're going the full financing route ...more

September.  Thats what BB said its looking like.
Comment by JCSunsfan on Aug 04, 2021 5:27pm
This line is important.   Advancing procurement initiatives will position us to efficiently progress into construction upon receipt of the final permit. Florence Copper will be America's new, innovative and low impact copper producer supplying the US domestic market with green copper. It says the permit is coming and that there are no problems.  They are so confident in it ...more

I seem to recall they amended their inital permit application to incorporate improvements discovered from their test facility experience. Could be that the EPA feedback on these amendments asked for more detailed engineering before signing off ... hence the delay.
Comment by metalhead666 on Aug 04, 2021 5:12pm
Yeah, you have everything wrong!  The permit will be in hand by the end of the 3d quarter which ends Sept 30th...You don't need finished engineering only enough information to the water injection permit...they don't care what you do with the pregnant solution once it's out of the ground.

This report looks nice to me. Considering the slow Q1 start, it's a good thing to know they still plan on hitting the 120M guidance number. I wouldn't be surprised if they surpass that mark. Still sounds upbeat in regards to Florence as they're moving forward with purchases to advance the project. After market currently up a dime US where it closed before today's sell off, wouldn ...more
