Branching Out

Branching OutQ: Hi, what do you think of the digital games portfolio of Spin Master? Do you think that this part of the company will produce major growth in the future? I read in their 2021 playbook that: The Company’s digital games business saw considerable growth and popularity in 2020, largely due to the growth of the Toca Life World franchise.

We believe this is a positive development in TOY's business and will allow them to stay relevant. It is still a smaller revenue base, but has doubled to 15% of revenue over the last year. TOY is certainly shifting into a higher growth space and we think things are looking more interesting here especially as digital games begin to take a greater revenue share and expand its addressable market.
