ADCOM line

I find this line from the ADCOM summary interesting. Vague diuscussion talks about MCNA possible being as effective as BCG but too similar in it's machanism? So working as well as BCG but much safer and available is not good enough?

"But in the absence of a control arm, several panelists noted that it was impossible to know whether those

outcomes in fact signified a clear improvement. There was also the issue that, like BCG, or Bacillus

Calmette-Guerin, the precise mechanism of action of MCNA is not known. It's not even clear, others pointed

out, whether MCNA works differently enough from BCG to warrant approval – or whether it relies on BCG to

prime the immune system or might prove handy in a first-line setting"

It is lines like this, subliminal statements throughout the whole adcom that make me feel uncomfortable. We can only pray the fda won't have such d!ckheads in its panel. Only one of them and he will destroy everything and influence the whole panel with his negative influence and polemic phrases.

What about the part where they suggest MCNA is too safe ( going off memory here ) and would put the bar too high for other drugs to get approval  if MCNA approved, WTF and F*CK ME! I heard right , right? Something was totally odd about this ADComm.  They totally ignored the fact also that MCNA met the AUA/FDA  agreed upon guidelines for efficacy on the study. They couldn't get ...more

13PD let us hope that the FDA accepts that the question should have been broken down into 2 parts. Do you feel it is safe and do you think it works. but it has been our lot in life to encounter the  odd FUBAR meeting. I still feel the moderator should have emphasized the option to push the third button if you think it's safe but have issues about the trial size etc. but then I am long TST ...more

Does anybody know how much it costs to produce one dose of Urociden...thanx
Comment by redatnight on Jan 17, 2016 4:40pm
see if they are getting on ave. 50000 dollars to heel a person with bladder cancer...the profit is approximately 3000 dollars cash for TST+We have to pay ENDO thier royalties....I still think that we are a 10 Billion dollar company in five years...hopefully no takeover bids....Berendt would, I would think have a poison pill...maybe a takeover by multiple companies...ELI LIllly Pfizer etc., red

Red My expectation is that the actual cost of producing MCNA will be less than what it cost to produce BCG as it is a safer drug with the expectation of lower side bar issues. My off the cuff guess is probably 10% of what we sell it for but the selling marketing and distribution fees will be pretty steep in the beginning but our milestone payments will kick in to reduce the hit. Here is to getting ...more

So what you are saying HT is that old school is trumped by new shcool...Bcg is cheap as you say but MCNA is more effective and has a cheap production cost. When you are referring to Japan S.K basically ISpen, the sky is the limit to what mcna can do GL to You HT AND good luck to all longs---If you are invested...start thinking about retirement!

If you look at the 2009 statements you see we had animal health sales of 33,281 and a cost of sales of 14,432. If half of our sales were off patent or being copied  and had a 50% margin the remaining 50% of sales had a cost of 6,111 and sales of 16,640 or 36% Given all the legal issues and time for trials for human health 10% is a best guess ball park number. After 2009 the FSs have ...more

HT so you are saying lose money on A.S make money on Human Health...85% for MCNA and 10% animal science...you have to admit that the A.S did carry them through some rough times now we have MCNA...HT how bout' in the future I will take you a ride in my limo and then you can take me for a ride in your limo!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by 13PunterDog on Jan 17, 2016 5:14pm
Profit margin is est. about 85% - 90% as I recall, so $50,000 is really $45,000 cash. This is not a major manufacturing process to produce MCNA. Poison pill in place for several years now. Cheers 13PD

So what do you think HT + PD do you see a 30mm dollar market cap in five years...I do and I plan to write my own calls up until its a 300 dollar stock...I don't know what you two are playing with in terms of shares but-, this feeling of being filthy wealthy...maybe it's in the  water! red
Comment by 13PunterDog on Jan 17, 2016 6:18pm
Red: I don't see us being around in 5 years. Ipsen buys us out ( friendly takeover) 6-18 months after approval. They are looking to move into our Bladder Cancer  market. When we get approval , we will be the media darling of the market , the little Canadian biotech that did it. Stock price will jump significantly and we get our listing on the Nasdaq a while later ( 2-3:1 stock split ...more

Are you sure PD that Beredt will let this stock go (even with their other drugs...in their infancy stage) I mean TST is a goldmine...and what PD said about  Bladder, Breast, and Prostae Cancer and many more treatments...I hope BERENDT saves his stock...it is almost potentially like another amzon on the NAZ
Comment by DryBones on Jan 18, 2016 12:38am
If all goes well and according to plan we will sell our manufacturing capacity just before demand materializes.  In a stroke of genius the vaccine plant will be sold for one dollar plus assumption of debt to our new contract manufacturer.   We will then contract out manufacturing for 110% of the selling price plus bonuses for meeting production targets.  But thats okay because we ...more
