The National Golf course owners assoc. report ytd rounds played are up 13.8% and revenue is up 25%.
It is difficult to exactly pull out how much greens fees have increased, because food and bev is in the rev mix.
Around Kelowna, greens fees at public courses are up at least 25 to 30%. What was a 75$ round last year is now $100. The higher end courses have gone from $100 to $150. Tee times are difficult to arrange.
Clublink competes with private courses, that do not raise annual prices as quickly given that the members are owners.
The value proposition of Clublink should show up in retention, and new member sales.
The waitlists indicate that they can ask more, we will have to rely on them to find the right mix.
