Take as long as you want, but to me it doesn’t take more than a few minutes to read it and see that most sections of the 40% agreement are declared inoperable, and there’s a clear path to redeveloping the course via the Planning Act (a proposal which was already approved by OLT)

I think the decision is pretty definitive in favour of ClubLink. Not sure what spin City lawyers could put on this. Looks like the end of the road for the community coalition in its fight to stop the golf course from being razed and developed.

In July 2020, Jenna Sudds said that Council budgeted $100,000 for this case to go through to the Ontario Superior Court. Would like to know legal costs now. Plus how much in third party costs and disbursements is the taxpayer on the hook for! Seemed like a non winner in 2020
