You stated "Management is good at mining, identifying economic deposits, getting permits, organizing hauling, making deals with large companies, ie Xstrata, getting cheap financing to get the mine going. "

Inspiration Mining doesn't seem to agree with you. When they owned 14.36% of UMJ stock they released the following :

November 1, 2010 TSX – ISM
Frankfurt- OI8
Toronto, Ontario - Inspiration Mining Corporation ("Inspiration" or the "Corporation") wishes to
announce that pursuant to section 105 of the Business Corporations Act (Ontario), the Corporation has
submitted a requisition for the calling of a special meeting of shareholders of Ursa Major Minerals
Incorporated ("Ursa"). The purpose of the meeting is the election of a new slate of directors to be
nominated by the Corporation. The Corporation currently owns 9,388,500 common shares or 14.36% of
the issued and outstanding shares of Ursa.
Mr. Randy Miller, the Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, states "Given that the current share
price of Ursa does not appropriately reflect it’s true value, we believe a new slate of directors would be a
critical first step in exploiting Ursa’s significant assets and in addition, would better allow for the
evaluation of synergistic opportunities that may be presently available."
The Corporation will provide shareholders with regular updates with respect to this matter.

On November 25, 2010 you claimed :
" I had a chat with Richard today concerning ISM. Sounds like at this point there is nothing to worry about . The best part of rising share price is it makes it difficult for ISM to have any say as we price them out of the market. I think the argument for ISM taking control of our shares is ironic, and laughable. How can ISM complain about our share price! See it for what it is. Randy has to show something for his lack of progress. Richard is a convenient scape goat, but we all know that it has nothing to do with UMJs performance for ISMs abject failure."
December 21, 2010, Inspiration Mining announced that they currently own 19.86% of UMJ shares. Apparently rising share price hasn't made it difficult for them to accumulate more shares. I'm curious at what point do you no longer have anything to worry about? ("Worry" being the word you used.)
I was also wondering what "lack of progress" and "abject failure" were you referring to WRT to Randy, especially as on November 17, 2010 you seemed to have no idea who Randy Miller was, you even asked : "Further to that who the F%%% is Randy Miller?"
How much of the recent spike in share price do you think should/could be attributed to Inspiration Mining accumulation? Do you also think the Share Holders Rights Plan will be called into play if Inspiration Mining manages to accumulate that magical 20%?
TIA.

Surething,          1.  On Nov 1st the share price was about 10 cents.  Now it is about 20 cents.  A 100% gain in value.  Anyone ignoring me, or claiming, like tickle that I was a "certified idiot" who deserved to lose my money would have missed out on a double at this point.          2.  The special ...more

I will give you the credit you deserve on promoting UMJ. We were stuck at a dime or less for so long, I didnt think it had any potential. Now that things have doubled, with the short-term potential for more ... You were correct cupricity, it was worth hanging in.

cupricity Thanks for your response and your opinions. For some reason you seem to have overlooked 3 of the 4 questions that I asked. 1. I'm curious at what point do you no longer have anything to worry about? ("Worry" being the word you used.)2. How much of the recent spike in share price do you think should/could be attributed to Inspiration Mining accumulation? 3. Do you also ...more

Your points are all moot about ISM etc.  The company is going to be showing profits for now until it stops mining.  It isn't going to stop any time soon with the prices of minerals these days. So it is a good investment.  As the price of the mineral increases so will the stock.

1.  I always worry.  There is nothing that I can do with money that doesn't involve worry.2. ISM is riding a wave.  Today we have 1.2 million shares traded, lots traded yesterday, no ISM yesterday.  I would say 30% of the buying is ISM.  70% is just plain economics.3.  I guess we will use our rights protection plan if we have too.4.  Since you don't ...more
