I live in Ottawa and we were without power for 5 days last week due to a storm. Half the people on our street went and got generators. Some of those who didn't (the stores ran out) are considering buying one for the next event. If the grid isn't reliable, people will look to having their own back-ups. Perhaps one should invest in companies that make generators.

Or the companies that provide the fuel for those generators. Oh wait, thats the O&G companies they're trying to phase out by EV's.

Well when its -30 celcius and the power goes out those neighbors who are b!tching about the noise might want to thank their neighbors for keeping them warm overnight - either that or give them some ear plugs and tell them to go home and burn the furniture to stay warm.. LOL..

At minus 30 degrees celsius, the neighbours screams will probably drown out the generator's noise !! Well, for a while anyway !!
