That is the question, to be a begger on the street or to be a company that generates real cash flow.

This is a bad bad deal, and if VII generation makes it though this mess it should immediately instate a .48 cent dividend and thumb their nose and that measly Arc offer. (that will only cost them 170 million dollars and they still have 800 million to pay down debt. 

Worst deal i have ever seen, especially when condensate is trading for 64 dollars U.S. or roughly 81 dollars canadian.

With all respect, I wouldn't be overly focused on the dividend in the near term. I agree it's not a massive yield but it is a strong indicator of ARC's excellence stewardship of its business through some truly unprecedented bad times. This is an example of their excellent stewardship, they were unable to continue to pay their dividend so they slashed it.  Effective March 13, 2020, ARC has reduced its monthly dividend from $0.05 per share to $0.02 per share. After the payment of the March 2020 dividend, ARC intends to change to a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share ...more

ARX was of the few in the patch that did maintain a divvy. And surprise, surprise WCP too. I have confidence ARX will increase the divvy when the dust settles on this deal which will bring in the fixed income fund money. Hopefully we go back to the monthly divvy too.
