What the fish-cake happened here?They picked off every penny gained today with oil at over $92.00.Go figure!

Practically all of the energy stocks made huge gains right out of the gate this morning and then fell back down for much of the day. Huge disappointment. All that money evaporated lol. This was definitely a day that didn't reflect the WTI price. Something else was going on to bring all the energy stocks down, but I'm not sure what. Manipulation of some sort? I doubt it was retail investors ...more

Correct DaveInvestor,I wondered too and I'm very disappointed.It's as if they are expecting the WTI to fall back 'bigly'!

Definitely a disappointing day but I think it's just a matter of building a base. The market isn't ready yet for $9.00 cpg. We're up like 75% in a 3 month period....it's still consolidating that move in my opinion

I would think that program trades probably saw this as a high for the sector and sold off. I disagree and bought a little CPG today.
