This quote is from a Fiancial Post report... lots of $ to return to shareholders at some point soon.. IMHO

Andy on BNN this morning seeding guests with biased questions supporting notion that too much of Canada's oil and gas profits are sent to non-Canadian offshore investors. Goes on to state only 25% of Canadians hold and benefit from E&P stock ownership.  Like WTF do they expect.  Government and media stoke attacks against Canadian resources and Canadian banks/funds support by ...more

Here's and idea... if they want to stimulate investment and attract investment capital amongst Canadians, how about lessening the capital gains and dividend taxes owed on investments in Canadian resource companies.

Agreed on all comments.. I laughed when I heard that breakdown of investment dollars.. the level of stupidity in Canada never ceases to amaze me.. LOL.. but the money makers (as I've mentioned before) couldn't give 2 chits about ESG and the unethical investments that supposedly go against the "green new deal"... as Tom Cruise said... "SHOW ME THE MONEY" !!!    ...more

I agree 100% with you but I think we both know taxes are only going one direction and it isn't down
